Date A Live is an anime that tells story about spirits that came to earth and attack, also kill people.
But, there is a high-school boy named Shido Itsuka (五河 士道), he has a very cute little sister named Kotori Itsuka (五河 琴里).
He also has a friend that enters AST ( Anti Spirit-Team), Origami Tobiichi (鳶一 折紙)
The reason Tobiichi enters AST, because her family was killed by a spirit in a fire, and she wants to kill that spirit.
The only one who can stop those spirits from damaging the human world is Shido .
HOW??
He just have to make the spirit fall in love with him, and goes to date with her, and kiss her. When Shido kiss the spirit, it will seal the spiritual power of the spirit.
The Spirit Could Only use their power when their in danger, but they couldn't use the complete power, 'cause it's already sealed,though.
Shido has sealed some spirits power, like :
- The spirit that ask him for a name, Tohka Yatogami (夜刀神 十香)
Codename : Princess (Hime)
- The spirit that wish never be lonely and had a puppet on her hand, Yoshino (四糸乃)
Codename : Hermit
- The spirit that has a different eye color, left eye : red, right eye : yellow, looks like a clock,
Tokisaki Kurumi (時崎 狂三)
Codename : Nightmare
- The spirit that splits her body into two, when they met shido, they finally knows what they both wanted : live happily together, Yamai (八舞) , Splits into : Yamai Kaguya (八舞 耶倶矢) and Yamai Yuzuru (八舞 夕弦)
Codename : Berserk
- The spirit that works as a very famous and popular idol singer, Izayoi Miku (誘宵 美九)
Codename : Diva
- The spirit that controls fire, had a very good relation with shido, Kotori Itsuka (五河 琴里)
Codename : Efreet
